The 2 1/2 mile, 30 minute train trip departs from the White Mountain Central Railroad station next to the parking lot where you bought your tickets.

The station is close to the gift shop, restaurants, and serves as the main entrance to the Clark's Trading Post grounds.

Listen to Calliope Circus music and inspect the restored steam engines parked at the station.

Introduce yourselves to Leon and Russ our friendly engineers.  Occasionally Leon can be convinced to speak "Français" for our Francophone visitors.

You can steam across the scenic Pemigewasset River and through rustic woods and into the past!

The train is powered by one of only three wood-burning steam Climax Locomotives still running in the world and crosses over the only standing Howe-Truss covered bridge still in use today!

While on your 2 1/2 mile steam train ride, WATCH OUT FOR THE WOLFMAN!

Parental discretion advised for preschool children.
