Railroad Days 2006


  • The Steam Porter 0-4-0 shuttle train ran every 15 minutes all day

Event was held September 16th and 17th - 10 am to 5 pm.  
Both days were sunny and there were big enthusiastic crowds.
Children, parents and rail fans of all ages from all over North America were out in force. 

This was also the 100'th birthday of our Baldwin steam locomotive. 
A birthday cake and presentations were part of the festivities. 

Equipment included Heisler, Porter, Shay and Baldwin steam locomotives. 
Other motive power included the Reo Railbus, Firefly Railcar and many speeders.

There were photo run bys of a logging train and freight train.  

Triple headed steam train starring the Heisler, Climax and Baldwin locomotives. 

The Porter steam locomotive ran every few minutes through the backlot. 

Dave Clark (on the right) presented Russ Page with his cap and pin as the first new locomotive engineer at Clark's Trading Post in 50 years.  We have so much fun that employee turn over is low.
