steam locomotive is repaired.

- Book early for the 2010 Railroad Days weekend Sept 18-19. The Highland Games are on the same weekend so the hotels fill up quickly.
- The Heisler Steam Locomotive #4 has been sent to a repair shop in Boothbay Maine.

Clark's Trading Post and the White Mountain Central RR are located on Rte 3 in Lincoln NH just off I-93.
The regular admission price includes all Clark's Trading Post standard attractions including the steam train ride and the new Segway ride. Extended high speed Segway Safari ride is an additional cost. Please note there are different height restrictions for each type of Segway ride.
Tickets are purchased at the main entrance.
Visitors can also ride the Climax logging locomotive and talk to Leon, Russ and Bob our engineers. While our steam locomotive is very reliable, the motive power is subject to availability.

The WMCRR is a private corporation and does not solicit donations.
During her 50 year existence, the White Mountain Central Railroad has rescued steam locomotives and logging equipment from certain destruction.
The WMCRR uses steam locomotives with driving rods, but also machines with toothed gearing typical of the North-American forest railroads.
These locomotives were built to the designs of Shay, , Baldwin, Porter and Heisler.
In 2010, the WMCRR has five steam engines, including three in operating state: a , a Baldwin, and one Porter.
All the steam locomotives operate on Railroad Days. The daily steam train ride is normally powered by the .

Oh very good! I didn't know of any repair plans before.
I believe the company is Boothbay Railway Village. I hear they've done a lot of restoration work for New England railways and seem to have a great reputation of doing an excellent job!
